Questions about 686x1981x44mm (27") Vancouver Light Grey - Prefinished Door

What is reeded glass in internal doors?

Reeded glass features vertical grooves moulded into the surface. Those fluted lines diffuse visibility while still allowing light to travel between rooms, providing a balance between privacy and brightness.

Is toughened glass used in glazed internal doors?

Most modern glazed internal doors use toughened safety glass. Toughening makes the panel significantly stronger than standard glass and ensures it breaks into small, less dangerous fragments if damaged.

Do glazed internal doors make rooms brighter?

Yes. Glazed panels allow natural light to move between spaces, which can help brighten hallways, landings, and rooms that might otherwise rely heavily on artificial lighting.
