Part L Doors

We offer many different styles of door. Choose from imposing oak or hardwood doors with solid frames. Grand, ornate frames with sidelights are some of the most popular choices in our collection. We also stock external doors with glazed panels featuring ornate designs. Our range also includes stained glass style doors with a number of patterns on them. Select from bevelled, glazed, frosted and leaded glass, as well as double and triple glazed clear glass entryways.

We offer a selection of hardwood double glazed doors and stylish composite entrance doors to suit most budgets. Whatever you choose and no matter how much you have to spend, you can be confident that you will get something durable and attractive, which will last for many years to come. Save time and choose from pre-finished products. If you’d prefer, you can select one of our unfinished options. These allow you to stain the door to suit your windowsill, garden fence, or other decorative elements.

Why Wooden External Doors?

External glazed wooden doors are enjoying a resurgence in popularity as more and more people are moving away from uPVC. For many years, plastic was a popular option because it is easy to clean and fairly hard wearing. Yet, wooden doors have a higher quality appearance and, if they are properly treated, they can last for many years. Wooden doors also offer high security and good insulation. With double or triple glazed panels they can allow lots of natural light into your home while still remaining a secure option.

Wooden doors and window frames:

  • Are more environmentally-friendly than doors made from uPVC
  • Often have negative global warming potential. Over their estimated 60+ year lifespan they could actually reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere
  • In the case of window frames, have a useful life of more than twice that of uPVC
  • Can be painted and redecorated should you decide to change the colour scheme or theme of your house

Choose from single exterior doors or double ‘entranceway’ configurations. Our basic wooden external doors start at just over £150. We offer a range of styles, designs and materials to suit most budgets. We also have a selection of sidelights with leaded and frosted glass, to help you create a traditional, elegant look for your porch.

Our external doors and window frames are good for the environment and are far less ‘high maintenance’ than you might expect. They are designed to be carbon neutral and we look to source them from FSC certified suppliers. We want to make sure that you can shop with confidence when you buy from us. You can have a clear conscience knowing that you are doing your bit for the environment.
