Perfect for allowing natural light to flow through your home, glass internal doors are becoming increasingly popular in UK properties. They provide a quick way to add more light, making rooms feel bigger, brighter and reducing the need for artificial lighting.
Choosing a glazed door is an excellent way to draw sunlight through your home, without you having to resort to reconfiguring your home by moving walls.
If you are renovating your property and looking for a cost effective way to make each room feel lighter, brighter and bigger, choose an internal glazed door. We we have a huge selection to suit almost any room.
Choose from a number of different window designs depending on the room you are working on, from full-length panels that would look great in a dining room to much smaller panes that let in light but still balance soundproofing and privacy. Half glazed internal doors are a favourite for family homes as they're versatile and stylish.
There is something for everyone. The frosted glass designs are ideal for studies, bathrooms, and other areas where privacy is an important consideration.
We offer different glazing options to suit your needs. If you want to bring two rooms together, then a clear glass panel will give you complete visibility from one space into the next. It will allow maximum sunlight to shine through and will help to create flow through your home.
If you’d rather maintain a sense of privacy between rooms, a frosted glass internal door will let the light slip through but will obscure the visibility between the rooms. This is great if you have a small room without much natural light flow but you don’t permanently want the space exposed. A dark ensuite or bathroom could benefit from frosted glass.
Our interior glass doors are made with toughened glass for maximum safety. Toughened glass is treated at incredibly high temperatures to give it added strength and stability.
With a toughened safety glass panel there is no need for you to worry about the resilience or durability of your glazed door. It is just as safe and secure as a solid door is.
We have a selection of glazed fire doors that are FD30 rated. This means they are able to withstand fire, flames and smoke for up to 30 minutes.
If you are fitting an internal glass door upstairs in a 3 or more storey property, or you have a loft conversion, then you may need to use FD30 rated fire doors. There are some other scenarios where fire doors may be required as well. If you are not sure what you need, we recommend that you speak to an expert.
Our oak glazed internal doors are easily the most popular in our range, but we have an extensive collection of other colours to choose from too.
Our walnut glazed doors are much loved by interior designers, while our white primed doors offer absolute versatility. One quick coat of paint and our white glazed internal doors will fit effortlessly into the most unusual or unique of design schemes.
If you’re looking for something a little more individual, with the convenience of a prefinished door, then we also stock fully finished oak veneer, chocolate grey and black internal glazed doors too.
If you really want to open your home up, many of our glazed interior doors work well in pairs, to make a set of French doors that will bring added freedom and flexibility to your space.
We also offer internal bifold doors that help you create a flexible living space. View our interior bifold doors and internal french doors to see the full collections.

Questions about Glazed Internal Doors
Internal doors with glass typically start from around £90–£120, with most popular styles sitting between £120 and £250. The final price depends on the look you choose, from simple clear glass designs to more detailed panelled or frosted styles.
Yes, for most homes, they’re a brilliant upgrade. Internal doors with glass help natural light travel through your space, making rooms feel brighter, more open, and more welcoming.
They’re especially popular for kitchens, dining rooms, home offices and hallways, where light can sometimes feel limited. If you want privacy, frosted or patterned glass keeps things bright without feeling exposed. It’s a simple swap that can completely change how your home feels.
A well-made internal glass door can last 20–30 years or more with everyday care. Modern designs use toughened safety glass and durable materials, so they’re built for busy homes and daily use.
As long as they’re fitted properly and looked after, they stay looking great for years, making them a long-term upgrade you can feel confident about choosing.
